Write an essay that address: To what extent did events during the First World War Effect the Post-War Middle-Eastern Theatre
Question: To what extent did events during the First World War Effect the Post-War Middle-Eastern Theatre?
This essay should address the before and after the before and then the effects ww1 had on the region. The essay should include only the three body paragraphs (and introduction and conclusion) in which you discuss the effects. It can be social or territorial or political effects etc whatever you feel like would suit the question best. You should also argue in the body the good for it and then argue the negative impacts (e.g. the mandate system may have improved the political system of one country but wrecked another); did it change a country for the better or worse in terms of what you’re arguing.
- Please use reliable historian’s perspective to back up your points
- Make sure historian’s perspectives are alternating as well as points in the paragraph.
- Make sure my points abide by my thesis statement – “The First World War impacted most of the Middle East and sent it into social and pollical turmoil whereby its affects are still felt today, however its impacts may have changed the country for the benefit of the country and its people on a long-term basis”.
- Make sure to use the references The Arabs: A History by Eugene Rogan and The Balfour Declaration by Jonathan Schneer, The Modern Middle East by Kamrava as well as any more you find.
*I have attached files for you to follow (including the guidelines below) the structure and please ensure to abide by it all times.
p.s. I strongly recommend using Palestine as an example for any of the points you make. Or the mandate system and its effects etc.
the examples I attach will include the whole document but only do section 2
