Section 3 – Approach Selection (3 pages). Choose group counseling to assess the following:
If you use group counseling, identify how you will address the child’s presenting issues through a group format. Discuss the activities and interventions will you utilize in group. Explain how you would incorporate, from a prevention perspective, elements that would help the child cope with crises related to bullying, school transitions, and other developmentally likely situations. Also, explore the child’s developmental level and explain the developmental issues you would like to address in your work with this child. Section 4 – Family Counseling (3 pages). Use a family systems theory and discuss how you can use this theory in a family session with all family members or guardians present. Plan a meeting with the client’s entire family. Identify the client’s family members. Discuss in detail the rules and boundaries in the family. Do you need to include some parent education models for the parents? If so, which model would you use and how would you introduce it in the session?
Your assignment paper must include a title page, the body of the assignment with the client description and all sections completed thus far, and a reference list.
