Assessment Tools

Student assessment in the classroom should be varied, differentiated, and include both formative and summative tools. Assessments should directly align to learning objectives and inform instruction.

Complete the “Assessment Tools Chart” by identifying social studies standards and three formative and three summative assessment tools that can be used to measure student learning of the social studies standards. You can include tools from your field experience observation or interview, personal research, templates from online sources, or create your own.

Support the chart with at least three scholarly resources.

While APA style format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
